At Inkapply ('we', 'us', or 'our'), we are committed to safeguarding your personal data and respecting your privacy rights under European (GDPR / ePrivacy) and United States (CCPA/CPRA) regulations.

2. Categories of Information We Process

We collect information through two avenues: (a) Information you voluntarily provide via our waitlist questionnaire (name, email address, company details, platform preferences, and workflow challenges); and (b) Strictly consented analytics telemetry (masked/anonymized IP address, general country/city, browser type, device resolution, and aggregated duration/scroll engagement). We never track keystrokes or sensitive input data.

3. Legal Basis & Purposes for Processing

Under GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 6(1)(b), we process your waitlist details based on your explicit consent and pre-contractual steps to notify you about product availability, early beta access, and product enhancements. Analytics cookies/identifiers are solely activated if you explicitly grant consent through our cookie settings banner.

4. Subprocessors & International Data Transfers

Your data is handled with appropriate contractual safeguards (including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable). Our infrastructure providers include: Vercel Inc. (hosting & edge delivery), Turso / ChiselStrike (encrypted database storage), and Resend Technologies (transactional email notifications). We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

5. Data Retention

Waitlist survey data is retained only for the duration of the preview program and until product launch, or until you request deletion. Anonymized analytics records are periodically purged after 90 days.

6. Your Rights under GDPR & US State Laws (CCPA/CPRA)

Under GDPR and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction or erasure ('right to be forgotten'); withdraw consent at any time; opt-out of data sale or sharing (we do not sell your data); and lodge a complaint with your local EU Data Protection Authority.
